CHALLENGE

Dürr Systems aimed to make a strong impression at FABTECH, a high-profile industry trade show that attracts thousands of manufacturing professionals. The goal was to effectively present Dürr’s range of innovative technologies while standing out in a competitive, visually crowded exhibition environment. The company needed a visually cohesive and on-brand booth presence that would attract attendees, support conversations, and leave a lasting impression.

PROCESS

Each year, I worked closely with Dürr’s marketing and sales teams to understand evolving event goals, product highlights, and messaging priorities. I led the design of booth graphics and supporting print materials—ensuring brand consistency across backdrops, panels, literature, and digital displays. I collaborated with trade show vendors and fabricators to finalize specifications, manage production, and coordinate installation logistics. This included adjusting for venue constraints, booth layouts, and updated branding year over year. My attention to both visual impact and logistical execution helped ensure a smooth rollout at each event.

SOLUTION

Through consistent and impactful design, Dürr’s presence at FABTECH grew stronger each year. The booth graphics and marketing materials not only enhanced the professional look of the space, but also helped position Dürr as a leading innovator in the metal finishing and manufacturing sectors. The work supported valuable conversations with industry professionals, generated leads, and reinforced the brand’s credibility. My long-term involvement over seven years contributed to a polished and effective trade show presence that reflected Dürr’s commitment to quality and innovation.

For seven consecutive years, I led the design and coordination of booth graphics and marketing materials for Dürr’s presence at FABTECH—North America’s leading trade show for metal forming and manufacturing. My work consistently elevated brand visibility, improved engagement with industry professionals, and reinforced Dürr’s reputation as an industry leader.

Even with a dip during the pandemic years, Dürr’s trade show presence maintained an estimated 83% viability rate, highlighting the long-term value of strategic design and consistent event participation.
